Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx appeared to confirm their relationship earlier this week when, after four years of rumors regarding their alleged romance, they stepped out in Los Angeles with Holmes' 11-year-old daughter Suri.

While Holmes and Foxx still haven't released a statement in regard to the nature of their relationship, a source claims that the couple is happy and in love.

"They are really happy," an insider told E! News on August 24. "It's easy and they are for sure very much in love... They are doing their thing as usual and keeping a very, very low profile."

Days ago, Holmes and Foxx were photographed at The Commons at Calabasas in Los Angeles as the mother-daughter pair embarked on a shopping trip. Around the same time, Foxx grabbed a few treats for the group, including a dessert from Menchie's Frozen Yogurt. Then, after their visit to The Commons, Foxx was seen hoping into his SUV and heading in the direction of Foxx's home.

Rumors regarding Holmes and Foxx's relationship first began swriling in August 2013 after they were seen dancing and enjoying one another's company at a charity event in The Hamptons.

Throughout the past several years, Holmes and Foxx have been caught together on numerous occassions but all the while, they have denied being involved.

Prior to the rumored couple's outing days ago, they enjoyed a New York City dinner date in April. That said, the two actors have refused to offer any comment about their potential romance and don't appear to have any plans to go public in the near future.

"Katie and Jamie will not at any time talk about their union," the source added. "They like their life private."
