Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin will be seen taking a major step in their relationship on Monday night's new episode of Teen Mom 2 season eight.

According to a sneak peek at the upcoming episode, which was shared by OK! Magazine on August 25, Lowry and Marroquin are attempting to salvage their co-parenting relationship as Lowry prepares to welcome her third child with a third man (which she did in real time earlier this month).

“I wanted to let you know I dropped the PFA this morning,” Lowry told a shocked Marroquin in the clip. “You did? That’s a relief,” he replied.

During last week's show, Lowry took legal action against her former husband after he allegedly acted irrationally after news broke of her pregnancy. As Teen Mom 2 fans will recall, Lowry's pregnancy news was revealed back in February and, at the time, Lowry admitted that her relationship with Marroquin was strained. She also revealed that she was no longer dating the man who fathered her child.

“I think there could of been other ways around it, but this alternative was a little excessive,” Marroquin responded of the protection from abuse order.

Lowry and Marroquin tied the knot in 2012 and welcomed their son Lincoln, now 3, in 2013. Then, in May of last year, they confirmed their plans for divorce.

Prior to their split, Marroquin told his wife that he wanted more children but according to her, she wasn't open to the idea.
