Tamra Judge has skin cancer.

Amid the drama of her strained relationship with her daughter, Sidney Barney, the Real Housewives of Orange County chose to go public with news of her health diagnosis and did so on Instagram along with a photo of a spot on her backside.

"I work out hard for this Booty. I was planning on competing again in November at 50 years old, but I'm not sure that's happening now. it looks like God has a different plan for me," Judge began in her August 27 post.

"I'm showing you this picture because this is what melanoma looks like. I don't want sympathy, I want you to save YOUR A** and get your skin checked," Judge continued, along with a profile photo of herself. "This was just a small black flat freckle.... I had no idea! Ill be fine because my faith is strong and my A** ain't bad either. Thank you @cacoastalderm. I've been a little sad, worried and pissed off. But we caught it early and that makes me happy. Happy birthday to me."

Judge and her daughter have been at odds for years and despite a brief reunion in late spring, they remain estranged at this time. In fact, their drama is at an all-time high after Barney put Judge on blast on Facebook and accused her of refusing to stop talking about the tension between them on The Real Housewives of Orange County.

While Judge denied mistreating her children, Barney has stood by her claims and continued to ignore her mother's requests for a reconciliation.
