Selena Gomez and The Weeknd recently enjoyed a romantic dinner date at Italian restaurant Olio e Piú in New York City and during their outing, the couple reportedly looked happier than ever.

On August 31, days after the singer's Instagram account was hacked (by someone who later shared naked images of her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber), Gomez made it clear that she has eyes for just one man.

“Selena and Abel sat deep inside the restaurant so they would have privacy,” an eyewitness told Hollywood Life of the pair's August 31 date. “She was dressed in a dark number that was almost goth-like with her hair pulled back and a hat covering her face. It was very intimate. They were very much into each constantly looking at each other adoringly. She ran her hands through his hair and he held her hands on the table as they sat across from each other.”

“They looked like they were lost in their own world, totally oblivious to anyone else,” the eyewitness added.

Gomez and The Weeknd began dating one another months after he split from The Weeknd and on January 10, they confirmed their relationship with a dinner date at Santa Monica's Giorgio Baldi restaurant.

Another insider shared details about the couple's relationship, noting that they are quite healthy.

“Their relationship is so grown-up and healthy, and grounded in respect and trust—they really are best friends as well as girlfriend and boyfriend,” the second insider told the outlet. “When they have a disagreement, they talk it out and resolve it straight away. They don’t allow any bad feelings or misunderstandings to linger and fester.”
