There were two shocking eliminations during The Voice Top 5 Results show on Tuesday.

Before viewers learned which Top 3 acts made it to the finale, Fall Out Boy performed their current hit, My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)!, before the big reveal took place. Tuesday's elimination show also featured guest musical performances from The Voice season 3 finalists Terry McDermott, the runner-up to season 3 winner Cassadee Pope. He debuted his single Pictures and third place finalist Nicholas David belted out his new single Say Goodbye.

Then came the bombshell news: after Team Shakira's Sasha Allen delivered a performance on Monday that landed her a standing ovation from the judges, host Carson Daly announced that she was one of two acts that earned the least amount of votes.

The next surprise was the shocking revelation that Adam Levine's star Amber Carrington landed in the bottom two.

This left frontrunner Blake Shelton's two country acts- The Swon Brothers and Danielle Bradbery- in the Top 3 and Team Usher's Michelle Chamuel as the third "safe" act.

This will be the second year in the row that one of Levine's acts did not make it to the finale and the second time that Shelton will have two acts in the season-ending show.

Shelton previously won season 3 with Cassadee Pope and season 2 with Jermaine Paul. Now that he has not one, but two acts in the finale, reports are buzzing that he will likely win The Voice for the third season in the row.

The Voice two-hour finale will air on Tuesday, June 18 at 9 p.m. EST/8 Central on NBC

The show will feature guest performances from Cher, Bruno Mars, Georgia Line and Nelly. It will be Cher's first live television performance in 10 years.
