Tamar Braxton And Husband: Comedian Speaks After Beef Rumors With Singer '[She's] A Cheater'

Funny guy DeRay Davis has cleared the air about speculation that he and Tamar Braxton are feuding.

The rumors started after they were seen going head-to-head while they taped an episode of VH1’s Hollywood Squares, TMZ first reported. Apparently Davis was mocking Braxton and accusing her of lip synching during her performance at the BET Awards over the summer. The two then got into a heated screaming match that led to Davis giving Braxton a warning that he would get his sisters on her. He also reportedly said he didn’t care how famous her sisters (Toni, Traci, Towanda, and Trina Braxton) are. And they’re pretty famous by the way.

Now, he’s shutting down rumors that the two are feuding and said it was all in good fun.

“Me and Tamar are fine,” he told Hip Hollywood as he pointed out that TMZ’s reports are a “lie.” “Tamar is a cheater at board games, a cheater at Tic-Tac-Toe, a cheater at Monopoly because she’s so cute and she thinks she can get away with stuff, and I play fair.”

He added that he and Braxton are pretty close actually.

“It was like a real life family, I’ve known Tamar forever. Sow hen you think somebody is cheating or trying ot get over you… People want it to be something else but we won’t let it.”

Meanwhile, Braxton has stayed quiet about all of the speculation.
