Serena Williams might be a celebrity but she became an every day proud mom when she shared the first photo of her first child on Instagram.

She posted a snapshot of her and the adorable child Wednesday morning.

Like any happy parent, she added a heartfelt and adorable caption.

Wililams and her fiance, the co-founder of Reddit, Alex Ohanian, reportedly welcomed their baby girl around Sept. 1.

She opened up about her journey on her personal website, SerenaWilliams.com.

In a special video she shared personal home photos and videos of moments she and Alex shared. In one clip, Williams took home a major Grand Slam win. The caption reads, “No one knows I’m 8 weeks pregnant.”

She added special videos of her and Alex watching clips of where babies come from, Williams sleeping peacefully, and revealed that the child always had movement in Williams’s belly at 10:15 or 10:30 every night.

Snapshots of Williams’s bare baby bump also made multiple cameos throughout the emotional video that lasted for a little more than 2 minutes.

She shared the baby’s heartbeat at 34 weeks, her swollen ankles and toes, and the crib they were preparing for the child.

She ended the video with footage of baby Alexis in all her glory.

Williams confirmed that Alexis was born on Sept. 1. She weighed 6 lbs. and 14 oz. Williams also pointed out that Alexis is the winner of one Grand Slam title.
