Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx may be headed towards marriage.

Although the couple only confirmed their alleged four-year relationship weeks ago, rumors are already swirling in regard to their potential next step and, according to one report, that next step could be a wedding.

“Jamie recent sat down with his closest friends and told them that he plans to marry Katie and have a baby with her,” an insider revealed to Life & Style magazine on September 18.

According to the report, Foxx has also taken the reigns on their relationship and allegedly proposed to Holmes in February of this year.

“Katie has even worn the ring in front of friends,” a second source noted, “but she’s always denied that it was an engagement ring.”

Several months prior to their romance reveal in early September, Holmes and Foxx faced rumors of an engagement or secret marriage when they were both spotted wearing what appeared to be wedding bands around the same time. 

“This is a dream come true for Katie,” the second insider added. “For years, she she has wanted Jamie to be her husband and has wanted to give her daughter, Suri, a brother or sister — and now Jamie’s ready to give that all to her. Now she feels like all their time spent hiding was well worth it.”

Prior to her relationship with Foxx, Holmes was married for six years to Tom Cruise and the couple shares one child together, daughter Suri, 11. As for Foxx, he has two daughters from previous relationships, including 22-year-old Corrinne and seven-year-old Annalise.
