Cardi B has officially set a new record thanks to her hit single Bodak Yellow.

The former reality star is now sitting at the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 list, knocking down Taylor Swift’s Look What You Made Me Do, the site reported Monday afternoon.

Here’s the cook part – Cardi is the very first female to land at number 1 on the coveted list with a solo record since 1998. The last female to do so was Lauryn Hill for her hit anthem Doo Wop (That Thing). Interestingly enough, this caused many fans to realize that Nicki Minaj had never topped the chart without a feature.

This also marks the sixth week that Bodak Yellow has been number 1 on the Hot Rap songs chart and fourth week as number 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart.

Cardi took to Instagram to respond.

“What a day! I feel like it’s my Graduation, Birthday and prom at the same time! You see Atlantic wanted me to take a flight in the AM for a meeting and to pick up my Platinum plaque… Didn’t know it was a big surprise with my family, friends, Gang and the girls that I used to work good and bad nights with back in Sues Rendezvous.”

She went on to thank fans for their support.

“Also fans and people that been supporting me since day one, All of them there for ME!! Thank you I’m beyond happy!! #BARDIGANG ..Wish my mom and sister was there and My man and Charlemagne but gotta take [care] of business!!!”
