Aerosmith fans in South America are likely to be very disappointed as the band's tour has been canceled as the frontman of the band SteveTyler is allegedly suffering from some undisclosed medical condition reported CNN Entertainment .

The group was bound to cancel their shows in Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and Mexico.

A statement issued by the band read that Tyler is seeking immediate health care, so doctors have advised him not to travel or perform. The statement added that the rockstar is expected to make full recovery to perform for his fans again.

Not just the band, but the rockstar himself issued a personal message apologizing to the fans and saying that he has let them down.

"I am not in a life threatening condition, but I need to deal with this right away, and get some rest and medical care immediately in order to sustain and maintain my future performances. I promise I'll be back. Unfortunately, health does not wait and it's something even I can't schedule around our shows." said the legendary rocker though he did not divulge anything else about his condition.

The legendary band has been performing for almost half a century and at present, they are on their farewell tour.Earlier the band had announced their European dates for their farewell tour. The announcement came several days after Tyler had suggested publicly that it was time for the band to get off the road and he also had mentioned that it could be probably the last ever tour of the band bidding goodbye to his fans.

However, Tyler's longtime partner, guitarist Joe Perry, was in disagreement with him regarding this matter. He had responded that there are still so many places they have not played and are yet to perform so this cannot be the end. He had said that there was more to follow.

The iconic band since December 2015, in various interviews, had spoken about the possibility of a farewell tour to start in 2017.

On July 10, 2016, Perry was believed to have had a cardiac arrest on stage and collapsed during a concert in New York. The show continued without his presence that night and the following tour as well. However, the band had to cancel an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
