Hit The Floor will be returning for the a 4th season and the network isn’t the only thing that’s changing.

The series is slated to move from its original network, VH1, to the sister Viacom station, BET, when it premieres in early 2018. The show’s creator, James LaRosa, opened up about what other changes we’ll see.

One thing is the addition of Teyana Taylor.

Larosa headed to Instagram to reveal the news earlier this week.

He wrote, “Welcome to the Devil Girls @teyanataylor …”

While Taylor is joining the show, Larosa also confirmed that Taylour Page, who played Ahsha Hayes, will not be returning. Another familiar face we won’t see is Adam Senn, who played Zero.

Larosa also announced that news on Instagram.

“For those asking, unfortunately yes, Taylour Paige and Adam senn will not be a part of the #HitTheFloor for S4. No one loves Dersha and Zude more than I do so trust me when I say I feel your pain.”

Derek and Ahsha tied the knot in the most recent episode of the show before it went on a long hiatus. It will be interesting to see how Derek and Zero move on without their loved ones as Larosa also added that they won’t be recast.

“I care too much about these relationships to recast,” he continued. “I also respect the contributions of Taylour and Adam too much to see anyone else in the roles. Please know the following: 1. Derek and Jude are in my protective care. S4 will be huge turning points for them. 2. The Devil Girls will not be without big-time star power 3. I care too much about LGBT storylines for them not to continue to be a big part of the show. That’s just who we are. 4. I am through-the-roof excited for S4.”

He went on to commend the cast and new network, BET.

“The returning cast is a dream team, with some famous OG cast still to be announced… along with some brand new series regulars who’ll rock your unmentionables off. BET has been so amazing. 6. You ain’t seen nuthin’ yet.”
