The Real Housewives of New York City Season 6 has only been filming for a month, and  Aviva Drescher already wants to throw in the towel and quit.

Drescher, who signed a last minute contract to be a cast member told Gossip Table that she questions herself about why she's on the show.

"Every day I wake up and say, 'I am a masochist!' Everyday I say, 'What is wrong that I signed up for this?" she said.

The reality star said the only good part she appreciates is when she can give back to those in need.

"It's really hard but you know when I went to Boston [to talk to victims who lost legs] and put smiles on those people's faces I say, 'You know what? It's worth all the headache," she said.

A friend of Drescher told Confidenti@l in April that the reality didn't sign up to be apart of the show for stardom.

"This isn't about getting press or attention for herself, this is about helping others," the friend told the publication. "Four different hospitals have asked her to visit and she has said, 'Name the date. I will do whatever I can to help.' "

"Aviva will not be bringing the Bravo cameras to follow her on the visits. This is about helping others, not her, and certainly not about Bravo ratings," the friend added.

Sources revealed that Bravo planned to offer Drescher the last-minute to decision on purpose. 

"Bravo deliberately staggered her contract until the last minute," the source said. "Last season, Aviva and Ramona [Singer] were the stars, and Bravo was scared if they invited them back at the same time they could team up and ask for a lot more money."

Singer is reportedly making $450,000 for season six, but Drescher is getting $100,000.

"The difference in what they earn makes them fight even more," the source added.

Meanwhile Drescher said she admires Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Brandi Glanville.

"I really like Brandi Glanville. Whenever a Housewife stirs up drama she's taking one for the team. She's going to take a personal hit from the fans for the good of the show and I think that anyone who stirs up drama is very courageous and selfless actually so Brandi is my favorite," she added.
