Teresa Giudice was seen reading a letter she wrote to her late mother, Antonia Gorga, during Wednesday night's premiere episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey season eight.

"Mommy I love you more than life, I miss you so much. I can’t believe you’re not here anymore with me," Giudice said, according to a report by In Touch Weekly magazine on October 5. "Daddy misses you so much. My daughters miss you, and we think about you every second of the day."

Margaret Josephs, the newest member of the cast, planned the beachside memorial service to allow her longtime friend to grieve. Meanwhile, Giudice's other friends, Danielle Staub and Melissa Gorga, were also in attendance and wrote letters of their own.

Antonia Gorga died suddenly of pneumonia at just 66-years-old in March.

"My mother, she fought really hard. But the pneumonia was too hard for her," Giudice explained. "My mom, she was just the most caring, loving mom ever. And she only cared about my brother, me, and my dad. She was an amazing woman. She was pretty amazing."

"This season was very emotional for me. When I first start out – I had just lost my mother and was completely devastated," she explained to All About the Real Housewives earlier this week. "My mother and I were so close and everyone knew that. I am so grateful for my girls because if it wasn’t for them helping me get through it – I would have crumbled."
