Lauren Conrad Boyfriend William Tell in Marie Claire [PHOTOS]; We Have A lot in Common,' She Says

Lauren Conrad covers Marie Claire's upcoming July Issue and dished details about her boyfriend William Tell. 

The former MTV reality star rocks the cover flaunting her new bangs, while showing off her Cali-girl style. In the magazine, the 27-year-old reveals why Tell is the perfect man for her. 

"He is very good for me because we have a lot in common as far as where we grew up. It's the first time I'm with someone and I'm not explaining things," she said.

Conrad, who used to date Jason Wahler and Brody Jenner said that Tell understands her on levels that other people don't.

He also has experience in the entertainment industry, so he understands a lot of things that people don't always get."

However, the Hills alum said her family loves Tell and are very supportive of their relationship.

"My family loves him, so they love when we come to visit," she told Us Weekly on June 5, adding that her mom and dad have already talked about engagement and marriage.

"We aren't in a rush, though," she said.

Meanwhile, since her days from MTV, she has changed and is over the party scene. 

"It feels done for me. I'm OK with it being done ... I destroyed my voice when I moved to L.A. There are polyps all over my vocal cords because I was in a lot of loud places. If you listen to the first episode of Laguna, my voice is completely different," she said. 

Aside for her Kohl's collection line of clothing and bedding, writing novels, she is launching a new e-commerce site she's launching called The Little Market which willl launch in September.

With success and fame, attracts haters, according to Conrad, but she said she looks beyond the negativity.

"You realize it doesn't matter. It's so simple, but it's a very hard lesson to learn. At the end of the day, it doesn't really affect you in any way," she added.
