Blake Shelton is the frontrunner in next week's The Voice season 4 finale and fellow coach Adam Levine joked that the country crooner's "head just can't get any bigger" about it.

Levine, who had two of the most shocking eliminations in one night,  told E! News that Shelton's ego is at a "max capacity right now" because he has two acts in the Top 3.

"It's got no more space to grow," he joked Tuesday night after the Top 4 eliminations show ended.

Levine also discussed the night he learned that two of his acts- Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons, who were considered frontrunners of the season- were eliminated at the same time.

"I was shocked when I lost Judith and Sarah in one fell swoop," the Maroon 5 frontman admitted. "That was upsetting. It's so close to the end at this point that you've got to just celebrate things.

Levine said he was also surprised to learn that his last contestant, Amber Carrington, didn't make it to the Top 3 Finale. Carrington was eliminated on Tuesday's Top 4 eliminations show with Team Shakira's Sasha Allen.

"Amber told me she wanted to crack the Top 10 on iTunes and she did so that's a huge accomplishment," Levine said of her accomplishments. "It's fun to be a part of this show, and I know Amber feels good about it. She's not going to be crying herself to sleep. She's going to be realizing, 'Oh my God, I made it very far on this show.'"

This is the second year in the row that one of Levine's acts did not make it to the finale and the second time that Shelton has two acts in the season-ending show. He successfully landed in The Voice season finale for the third season in the row and won seasons 2 and 3. This year, he stands as the likely contender with not one, but two acts in the Top 3. Shelton's contestants, like himself, are country singers, The Swon Brothers and Danielle Bradbery.  They will compete against Team Usher's Michelle Chamuel on Monday.

Shelton previously won season 3 with Cassadee Pope and season 2 with Jermaine Paul. Now that he has not one, but two acts in the finale, reports are buzzing that he will likely win The Voice for the third season in the row.

The Voice two-hour finale will air on Tuesday, June 18 at 9 p.m. EST/8 Central on NBC

The show will feature guest performances from Cher, Bruno Mars, Georgia Line and Nelly. It will be Cher's first live television performance in 10 years.
