Celebrity photographer Terry Richardson has been known to capture some of the most risque' photos of major celebrities. While he sees this as a work of art, others have undoubtedly questioned the intention of the eccentric-albeit talented man behind the camera.

Recently, reports have began to swirl that Richardson is being accused of sexual assault. While these accusations seem to have been around for quite some time, the major publications that have featured his work are not taking any chances.

It has been confirmed that Richardson has been banned from working with Vogue, Vanity, GQ and most notably, the Valentino Label.

Richardson, who has photographed Miley Cyrus and Rihanna, has expressed his 'disappointment' in hearing about the news via e-mail.

"Terry is disappointed to hear about this email especially because he has previously addressed these old stories. He is an artist who has been known for his sexually explicit work so many of his professional interactions with subjects were sexual and explicit in nature but all of the subjects of his work participated consensually," his rep stated to E!News.

On Monday, James Toolhouse, the executive vice-president for Conde Nast International, announced the company's decision to no longer work with Richardson and that any recent work from him that has not yet been published should be 'executed or replaced with other material'.

No further information has been released in regards to the names of the alleged victims or when the "assaults" took place, however Richardson has been very vocal about the unfairness of being misjudged because of his work.

"I don't have any regrets about the work at all," he confesses to New York Magazine. "Obviously I don't ever want someone to feel like that. It was never my intention. But also, people do things, and then they have regrets, and that's also nothing to do with me. Then don't do pictures like that again...I'm okay with myself about everything, and that to me is the most important thing."

Richardson joins Harvey Weinstein, James Tolback, and Chris Savino; in the list of men in Hollywood who have been recently been accused of sexual misconduct towards multiple women.

It may seem a little soon to jump the gun with Richardson, but because of the outpouring of women and men who have come forward recently with their demands for justice, Richardson may have no choice but to bite the bullet with this one.
