Anticipation continues to build rapidly over a DC Comics Justice League mega-movie, as fans of the highly popular superhero ensemble continue to speculate over its very real possibility.

One of the most highly discussed topics questions surrounding the Warner Bros. flick has been who would play the powerful female role of Wonder Woman.

About a month ago, writer David Goyer, who appears to be the chosen one to eventually pen Justice League, recently addressed the complexities of casting a Wonder Woman to Reddit, stating that it would be even be more difficult than finding a brand new Batman.

"I think Wonder Woman is a very difficult character to crack. More difficult than Superman, who is also more difficult than Batman. Also, a lot of people in Hollywood believe that it's hard to do a big action movie with a female lead. I happen to disagree with that. But that tends to be the prevailing wisdom. Hopefully, that'll change in the next few years. Who should play here (sic)? No idea ...."

According to KSL, some of the candidates for the highly important role include Fast & Furious 6's Gina Carano, John Carter's Lynn Collins, Avatar's Zoe Saldana and Looper's Emily Blunt, amongst others.

DC Comics is currently planning on releasing Justice League at some point in 2015. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest info on the superhero movie. A fan-made movie trailer can be viewed below.
