To the excitement of its many fans, FX's hit TV comedy series, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, will be returning with its ninth season in the fall.

The highly popular program will be kicking off on the FX networks sister channel, FXX, as a brand new promo teaser has now come out.

In the promo video, Frank (Danny Devito) addresses making a new start in Swedish while Dennis (Glenn Howerton) explains the inevitability of change in the same language. To top the footage off, Mac (Rob McElhenny) doesn't seem to be dealing with life too well, amongst other interesting happenings.

Always Sunny writer/actor Charlie Day (Charlie Kelly) recently spoke to Zap2it on June 12 about his character's yearning for The Waitress (Mary Elizabeth Ellis), who is actually his real-life wife, and gave a solid indication as to what lies ahead for the potential lovebirds in Season 9.

"I will say this: There is a bit of a fantasy sequence that may be animated, and influenced by some Pixar movies. And you may get to see, potentially, what would happen if it worked out. But the reality of the two of them working out, I'm not sure about that," he explained.

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia is currently filming its ninth season, and is slated to hit the small screen at some point in September. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the TV series.
