Matt Baier Reacts To Amber Portwood Allegedly Being 'Pregnant'

It's only been a few months since Amber Portwood and Matt Baier broke up but already, the Teen Mom OG star is said to be expecting a child with the Los Angeles-based lighting technician, who she met on the set of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition.

Needless to say, Baier seems to be completely blindsided by the yet-to-be-confirmed baby news.

“You’re kidding,” Baier responded when Radar Online informed him of Portwood's alleged pregnancy on November 2.

Despite his shock, Baier wishes the reality star well.

"Amber is a great mother. If this is what she wants then I’m extraordinarily happy for her and I wish them nothing but the best,” he said.

Portwood and her ex-fiancé haven't spoken “at all” since the news broke but after learning that she is allegedly expecting a child with Andrew Glennon, Baier said he was planning to “text her congratulations.”

As for how Baier has been doing in the months since parting ways with the reality star, he said he's “doing great” and dating a new woman.

Earlier this week, Radar Online was first to break news of Portwood's alleged pregnancy, telling readers the milestone was “totally unexpected" and adding that she is "really excited. "According to a source at the time, Portwood has been quite sick in the early months of her rumored pregnancy but her spirits are "good.”

“She told her friends and family about the pregnancy a few weeks ago,” the insider said. “They all had a good reaction.”

Portwood and Baier had a troubled relationship for several years and after calling off their plans to wed in October of last year, they also called off plans to wed in October of this year. The former couple then headed to the set of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition, where they attempted to mend their relationship before ultimately calling it quits.

Since their breakup, Baier has been living in Las Vegas and frequently sharing photos of his outings on Instagram.
