Are Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Getting Married? Get An Update On Their Relationship

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been going strong for overe two years, but are they ready to get married?

While the longtime couple has been linked to engagement and wedding rumors ever since they confirmed their relationship at the end of 2015 during a joint outing in Nashville, Tennessee, they haven't yet announced when they will wed. A new report, however, claims an engagement likely won't happy in 2017.

“[Gwen] doesn’t believe she will be proposed to this year because of Blake’s schedule," an insider explained to Hollywood Life on Nov. 3. "Once The Voice goes live, Blake goes into full work mode and puts all his focus into the show."

Shelton is one of two full-time coaches on The Voice who have been starring on the series since its start. The other is Adam Levine, who is quite close to Shelton and Stefani off-screen. As for the other two chairs, they have had a revolving lineup of celebrities, including Stefani, Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, and more recently, Jennifer Hudson and Miley Cyrus.

"[Blake] is already working on performances he will be doing on the show, getting his team ready to win again and mostly putting his attention on all things work-related,” the insider continued.

“Gwen would be completely surprised if he were to propose to her because she is 100 percent not expecting it at all," the source added.

Stefani and Shelton's relationship has been a hot topic for fans in recent years and as they continue to flaunt their love for one another around Los Angeles and through their music, everyone is hoping to see their love story end in marriage. In addition, many others are wondering about the couple potentially having a child together.

While Stefani is already mom to 11-year-old Kingston, nine-year-old Zuma, and three-year-old Apollo, Shelton doesn't have any kids of his own. Rumors suggest that Shelton and Stefani may welcome a child before tying the knot.

“Blake and Gwen‘s excitement over becoming parents has made their relationship rock solid,” an insider told Hollywood Life last month. “It’s even an inside joke between them — like if any disagreement starts brewing, they just start talking about having kids. Blake has this amazing sense of humor and he’s able to diffuse any tension by just making Gwen laugh.”
