Kim Kardashian announced that she and her husband, rapper Kanye West, were expecting their third child via surrogate in September, but fans shouldn't expect so see a gender reveal anytime soon.

According to a new report, the 37-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is thrilled to be giving her two older children, four-year-old North West and one-year-old Saint West, a sibling, but she isn't too concerned about learning the child's gender and may wait until he or she arrives.

“Kim and Kanye don’t want to know the sex of their baby, they want to wait until it’s born, and they don’t care either way, as long as it’s healthy,” a source close to the family shared with Hollywood Life on Nov. 4.

Kardashian and West welcomed daughter North in June 2013 and got married the following year in Italy. After welcoming their second child, Saint, in late 2015 after a complicated pregnancy, they decided against allowing Kardashian to get pregnant for a third time.

Although Kardashian and West have faced a number of divorce reports since their troubled 2016, which included Kardashian being robbed during a visit to Paris and West suffering a mental breakdown in California, the Hollywood Life source said the couple is doing great at the moment.

“Their marriage is in really good shape right now, and they feel like they’ve finally managed to put all the stress and troubles of the past year behind them," the source explained. "In fact, everything they’ve gone through has made them stronger, and they feel that nothing can tear them apart now. They’re both super excited about the baby, and Kim’s been working on decorating a beautiful new nursery.”

In addition to Kardashian's third child joining the family early next year, her two younger sisters, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, are reportedly expecting their first children with boyfriends Tristan Thompson and Travis Scott, respectively. As for their other sisters, Kourtney already shares three children — Mason, 7, Penelope, 5, and Reign, 2 — with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, and Kendall Jenner doesn't appear to be at all ready to start a family with new boyfriend Blake Griffin.
