Kailyn Lowry and Jo Rivera may be exes but they are extremely close friends, despite their past issues.

As fans saw during a recent outing, Lowry and Rivera have a great co-parenting relationship with one another and over the weekend, the former couple was seen spending time with Lowry's third son, three-month-old Lux Russell, whose father is Chris Lopez.

The Teen Mom 2 star recently shared an image on Snapchat of her youngest child spending time with Rivera and his youngest child, 2-year-old Vivi.

Lowry and Rivera were first seen together on MTV's 16 & Pregnant as they welcomed their oldest child, 7-year-old Isaac. Later, after Lowry married Javi Marrqouin and welcomed their young son, 3-year-old Lincoln, Rivera welcomed his daughter with fiance Vee Torres.

The former couple and their kids reportedly enjoyed a play date with one another before attending a charity event to benefit victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. As Teen Mom 2 fans may have seen, Lowry shared details of the event on social media before it took place.

“Jo, Vee and I will be in New Jersey Saturday night for a charity fundraiser! Come hang out with us & help raise awareness for hurricane victims in Puerto Rico,” Lowy wrote in the caption of the three of them at the end of last week.

Last year, Lowry explained how her relationship with Rivera had evolved.

“Jo and I [once] hated each others’ guts…we were not good friends [and] we barely co-parented. All of a sudden, it was a complete 180. Now we’re best friends — I can tell him anything. I can call him, and we can switch weekends easily or if I need him to grab Isaac from school. We are so good now,” she said.

Meanwhile, Lowry and her ex-husband Marroquin continue to butt heads with one another as they attempt to remain civil for their son Lincoln's sake.
