Jay-Z has decided to cancel his Dec. 6 performance in Nebraska due to technical difficulties and other production issues.

The singer's 4:44 Tour was supposed to be held at the Pinnacle Bank Arena. However, Jay-Z has decided to not push through with it if he will only do it halfway.

"This tour is too important to me to do it halfway. I have to cancel the show. I respect you guys too much to take the money and run," said Jay-Z.

'4:44 Tour' Ticket Refund

The rapper and his team learned that it will be impossible for them to set up tour's video screens in the building due to some issues. As a result, tickets for next month's show are now being refunded. Fans of the singer who purchased their tickets via the Internet or phone have automatically gotten their money back.

This is not the first time that Jay-Z cancelled an upcoming performance. He also did not head to his show in Fresno, California on Nov. 1 due to the same reason. Initially, there were rumors that the "Empire State Of Mind" singer's show was axed due to low ticket sales.

Jay-Z's tickets were deemed to be too expensive at $175. Later on, a secondary site sold tickets for the 4:44 Tour for as low as $6.

'4:44 Tour' Schedule

As of late, Jay-Z's other tour dates have not yet been cancelled. He will continue to perform at the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta on Dec. 9; Pepsi Live at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC on Dec. 11; KeyArena in Seattle, Washington on Dec. 13; Moda Center in Portland, Oregon on Dec. 14; Oracle Arena in Oakland, California on Dec. 16; Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California on Dec. 17; Viejas Arena in San Diego, California on Dec. 19; and in The Forum in Los Angeles on Dec. 21.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z also made headlines recently due to his partnership with producer, Harvey Weinstein. The two worked together in the 2016 Netflix original film, The Kalief Browder Story. Jay-Z and Weinstein have also teamed up for Suspicious Nation, an adaptation of Lisa Bloom's Trayvon Martin story.

Last month, there were reports suggesting that Jay-Z was in talks to buy out Weinstein's 23 percent shares at The Weinstein Company. However, he or his rep has not confirmed anything yet.

Weinstein has been fired from the company after he was accused by several women of sexual misconduct. The producer filed a case against the company days later, and he requested a copy of his TWC employment files and other documents.
