Southern rapper Nelly will perform on the Season 4 finale of The Voice on Tuesday and release a new single, which features Nicki Minaj, earlier that day. Viewers may get a surprise duet performance of the coollaboration on the NBC show, according to a suggestive tweet. 

Entertainment Weekly's Inside TV blog reported on June 11 that Nelly will perform this summer's hit single,Cruise, with the popular country music band Florida Georgia Line . On June 13 the Hot In Herrr rapper shared with his fans on Twitter that he will release a new single with the Queens rapper.

"Nelly_Mo: New NELLY FT NICKIMINAJ "GET LIKE ME" produed by Pharrell dropping the 18th," he tweeted. 

Minaj retweeted Nelly's message to her 16-plus million followers on Twitter on June 14, which spurred her fans to send Minaj a multitude of tweets because she has been inactive on the social media site for four days.

"You know we always overreact when you dont tweet for than 24 hours," wrote @RemyMajor.

"OMG!!! YOU IS ALIVE! We was worried disck about you pudding!" wrote another Twitter fan with the handle @PRINCEOFMINAJ.

"Missed u too babies! but what I've been "doing is top secret...," Minaj replied. 

She then shared some of the professional projects she has been involved with during her time away from Twitter but did not mention The Voice season 4 finale.

"saw the mario edit, dope, saw the busta edit, dope, amazing #myx meeting, LONG #kmart meeting, approve thusm approve that....AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!" she tweeted.

The last time Minaj's fans saw her on stage, since her exit from American Idol, was when she performed her last single, High School, with her mentor Lil' Wayne on May 19. The duo caused major buzzz when Minaj performed a risque lap dance with the Young Money rapper, during a live broadcast of the 2013 Billboard Music Awards ceremony.

Nelly performed his duet with Florida Georgia Line earlier this month at the CMT Music Awards on June 5.

Nelly's new single with Nicki Minaj will be the second from his upcoming seventh studio album, M.O.,  which is slated to be released later this year. The album will also feature guest appearances from singers Chris Brown, Trey Songz and Nelly Furtado and fellow rappers T.I. and Wiz Khalifah.

The Voice Season 4 finale will also feature guest performances from Cher and Bruno Mars. It will be Cher's first live television performance in 10 years.

The Voice two-hour finale will air on Tuesday, June 18 at 9 p.m. EST/8 Central on NBC.
