Kate Middleton made her final public appearance Saturday at the Troop of Colour Ceremony before the birth of her baby, wearing a pale pink overcoat and leading some to speculate if she is expecting a little girl.

Back in March, rumors swirled that the 31-year-old wife of Prince William was having a girl after she attended an event and accepted a teddy bear from an onlooker with an unexpected thank you gesture.

Diana Burton, a local, handed Middleton a white teddy bear, which the Duchess accepted with a smile.

"Thank you, I'll take that for my d-" Middleton said before she broke off her comments.

Now those rumors have resurfaced after the Duchess wore a fancy pink Alexander McQueen coat to celebrate the Queen's birthday, that could possibly symbolize the arrival of a baby girl next month.

Other reports even indicated that the royal couple could name their daughter after Prince William's late mother, Princess Diana who died in a tragic car crash in Paris in August 1997.

While royal fans may not find out the baby's gender until Middleton gives birth, earlier reports indicated that she was hoping for a little boy.

"She said, 'I'd like to have a boy and William would like a girl,'" Irish Guardsman Lee Wheeler told the Press Association after talking to the Duchess at a St Patrick's Day Parade in March.

Meanwhile fans in the United Kingdom continue to take bets on what the little addition will be named. Many people believe that if the baby is a girl, she will be named Alexandra and others have speculated that Charlotte will be the name, according to The Mirror.

"Until the arrival of the royal baby and this is the second significant gamble on this market," William Hill, a spokesperson for an online betting website. "Coming so close to the due date, you would have to assume that there is something behind this one."
