YouTube has released its list of the 10 most popular videos this year, which is compiled based on factors like views, likes, comments, and shares.

The 2017 top trending YouTube videos have racked up more than 633 million views in total, 83 million views higher than last year's list. Viewers watched the videos for a collective 40 million hours and the channels that created the content have more than 55 million subscribers between them.

Here's a look at some of this year's top trending videos:

'Until We Will Become Dust' - Oyster Masked | THE MASK SINGER 2

This video of a Thai singer performing in an oyster costume made it to the top of YouTube's top trending videos list. The said performance from a popular singing competition called The Mask Singer has been viewed more than 181 million views since it was posted in June.

Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You' - Kyle Hanagami Choreography

A dance performance by LA-based choreographer Kyle Hanagami's set to Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" comes in second place with over 118 million views. The video also bagged the title of most-viewed choreography video on the platform of all time. Sheeran's official video of the song ranked second on YouTube's most-viewed music videos list.

Darci Lynne: 12-Year-Old Singing Ventriloquist Gets Golden Buzzer - 'America's Got Talent' 2017

The video from the NBC reality show, America's Got Talent, features an audition by singing ventriloquist, Darci Lynne Farmer. The judges were so impressed by her act that they sent her straight to the live shows round of the competition by pressing the Golden Buzzer. The 12-year-old was crowned the winner of the talent show when it ended in September.

'INAUGURATION DAY' -A Bad Lip Reading of Donald Trump's Inauguration

The YouTube channel that has spoofed scenes from films, songs, and television shows among other things by dubbing over them released another video this year. It's the hilarious lip reading of President Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony. The video is one of the channel's most-viewed videos ever.

Children interrupt BBC News interview - BBC News

Political science professor Robert Kelly was in a Skype interview with BBC News. It was being shown live on air when his curious children gatecrashed the interview. The kids' mother then mother burst into the scene and herded the little ones out the door.

The clip instantly went viral and has amassed more than 25 million views and is the news outlet's most popular video yet.
