Shannon Beador has officially filed documents to end her marriage to husband, David Beador, after 17 years and three kids.

Weeks after confirming their separation with a statement to fans, the Real Housewives of Orange County star has embarked on the process of divorce as she does her best to stay focused on the positive things in life.

In one of her latest social media posts, which was shared by Us Weekly on Dec. 6, Beador shared a quote with her fans and followers in which she encouraged herself and others to smile through the tears.

“Someday, everything will make perfect sense,” the post read. “So, for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason.”

Beador and her husband have been chronicling the ups and downs of their marriage for the past few years on The Real Housewives of Orange County. During the season 12 reunion special, Beador confirmed their marriage was over. As fans will recall, David admitted to cheating on his wife during the tenth season, and during season 11, they renewed their vows.

Although the couple appeared to be in a great place during the reality series' 11th season, their marriage was tested again during season 12. Sadly, they were unable to work through their issues.

Beador and her husband share three kids, daughters Sophie, 16, and twins Stella and Adeline, 13. She first confirmed her separation in late October.

“After much thought and careful consideration, David and I have made the difficult decision to separate,” she said in statement to Bravo TV at the time. “We remain partners in parenthood and are committed to raising our three daughters. This is not the future we envisioned, and we kindly ask for privacy, especially for our children, during this transitional time.”

Since parting ways, Shannon and David Beador have seemingly proved that they intend to remain united in their parenting efforts with their kids. In fact, in addition to their promise to their kids, the couple was recently spotted hanging out together at a USC football game. They were also seen enjoying time with their oldest daughter, Sophie.

Shannon Beador, her family, including her three daughters, and her co-stars Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, and Kelly Dodd, are expected to return to filming on The Real Housewives of Orange County sometime next year.
