Captain America will trade in his stars and stripes suit for a darker, more modern model in Marvel's Winter Solider.

Up close pictures of the World War II soldier's modern era suit were captured by the Plain Dealer during their live blogging of the film's shooting in Cleveland. Chris Evan's stunt double can be seen donning the dark blue uniform while heading down Lorain Avenue Bridge in Fairview Park via motorcycle.

The redesign seems logical as Caps solidifies his place in the 21st century. Teamed up with S.H.I.E.L.D., the Star-Spangled Avenger drops some of his pomp as he takes on the Winter Solider and the shady villains of D.C. True to the concept art, Captain America will weather out the "political thriller" in his Super Solider outfit, according to I Am Rouge.

While pictures have been flooding the web from the film's time in Cleveland, Marvel is struggling to maintain its usual cloak of secrecy. Utilizing a series of highly public places with a low level of security is leading to a long list of spoilers for the 2014 film. Although some plot hints are larger than others, such as Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff's stolen escalator kiss, hopefully the first Avenger should still have a lot to reveal when Captain America: The Winter Solider finds its way to theaters.
