Chelsea Houska Wants To Change Aubree's Last Name Amid Adam Lind's Legal Drama
Chelsea Houska's ex-boyfriend, Adam Lind, is currently in a heap of trouble with the law.
After being accused of domestic violence, the former Teen Mom 2 dad was arrested twice in just one month's time and now, Houska has taken further action against him.
Chelsea Houska File Motion To Change Aubree's Last Name
As Lind faces the consequences of an alleged volatile relationship with his ex-fiancee, Stasia Huber, a Radar Online report claims that his other ex, Houska, has filed a motion to change the last name of their eight-year-old daughter, Aubree.
On Dec. 8, the Lincoln County Clerk of Court told Radar Online that Houska had filed a request to change the child's last name to include that of her husband, Cole DeBoer. However, rather than get rid of Lind's last name entirely, the longtime reality star and mother of two will instead opt for the hyphenated name of Lind-DeBoer.
Houska and her ex-boyfriend, Lind, are due in court on Jan. 8, 2017 at 10 in the morning to further discuss the issue.
While Houska has been seen discussing the possibility of changing their daughter's name on episodes of Teen Mom 2, her actual filing reportedly came after Lind was arrested on Nov. 2 for an alleged domestic assault against Huber. As fans may have heard, Lind was also arrested earlier this month for violating a no-contact order that had been put in place after the alleged November assault.
Adam Lind To Address Issues In Court
Lind is due back in court to address his issues with Huber on Dec. 21 at 9 in the morning.
“The judge granted the protection order for Stasia against Adam,” the Clerk of Court for Minnehaha County Circuit Court told Radar Online. “It is for five years.”
Lind and Huber were involved in a 3-year relationship that ended earlier this year after he was accused of abusing drugs. Months later, Huber filed court documents against him, recounting a number of scary encounters with the former reality star.
“While under the influence of drugs, alcohol, and steroids, he fractured my forearm, locked me in the house saying I couldn’t leave, smashed my phone and once he realized what he had done, he broke down crying and took me to the ER. We broke up for a while after that,” she alleged.
Chelsea Houska, her family, and her co-stars including Cole DeBoer, Jenelle Evans, David Eason, Kailyn Lowry, Javi Marroquin, Briana DeJesus, and Leah Messer are currently in production on the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2. The new season will air sometime next year on MTV.
