As fans eagerly await the latest information regarding Eminem's upcoming album, his producer Alchemist revealed new details about the album.

"That's my boss. I DJ for him and I'm not at liberty to speak on much, but you know his caliber and what he does," he told MTV about Eminem's eighth studio album on Monday.

Eminem's upcoming music is "clearly going to further territories."

"I think what you would expect, especially after the last go-round," Alchemist added.

Eminem's last album Recovery was released in 2010 and went to No. 1 on Billboard. It included the hit Love the Way You Lie featuring Rihanna.

There is no release date or album title for Eminem's next record, but fans discovered that an album was indeed coming when he spoke with Shade 45 radio host Sway Calloway in August 2012.

"I've actually kinda just started. I've been on the move a little bit too, so I've in between things, sneak songs in here and there," the rapper said.

Eminem also said that, at the time, he had just finished working on an album for the hip-hop collective Slaughterhouse. The group, which was signed to Shady Records in 2011, consists of Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Crooked I and Royce da 5'9.

"Now I've got time to be able to start doing things for my own project," he added.

Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg also confirmed to Billboard that the album will be coming out in 2013 during a February interview.

Since that time, the Detroit native has been photographed in the studio with rapper Kendrick Lamar in June, comedian Chris Rock in May, as well as with rapper Big Sean in April. Big Sean called the day he worked with Eminem "historical."

Eminem is also heading on a mini European tour in August with Kendrick Lamar and Tyler the Creator.
