HGTV host Carter Oosterhouse is being accused of sexual misconduct by Kailey Kaminsky. The former makeup artist for the cable channel claimed that the incident happened in 2008.

Kailey Kaminsky Accuses Carter Oosterhouse

Kaminsky said that Oosterhouse coerced her into performing repeated oral sex acts during the production of Carter Can. The negative experiences eventually led to Kaminsky's depression.

"At that point, I was a nervous wreck. I was so worn down from his advances, so I did: that day, on that occasion," said Kaminsky. "It was the first time. Then thereafter it was almost every time we would shoot - 10 to 15 times he put me in this position."

HGTV Host Denies Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Following Kaminsky's revelations, Oosterhouse released a statement and said everything that happened between him and the makeup artist was consensual.

The host of The Greatest Christmas Light Fight also said that Kaminsky never told him that what was happening between them at that time made her feel uncomfortable.

"The reality is that I knew it was consensual because she initiated it the first time and many of the 15 or so times we have relations thereafter," said Oosterhouse.

He added that he and Kaminsky considered each other friends outside of the workplace.

Kaminsky also claimed that she identifies as a lesbian, that's why she was surprised when Oosterhouse tried to make a move on her. The HGTV host, on the other hand, said that he was unaware of Kaminsky's sexuality.

Patrick Jager Responds To Kailey Kaminsky

Meanwhile, Kaminsky further revealed that she was hospitalized for an entire week and was absent from Carter Can at the same time.

Patrick Jager, the director of the reality TV show, allegedly told the makeup artist that she will no longer be hired next season because of her weeklong absence.

However, Jager debunked Kaminsky's claims and said that he doesn't remember telling Kaminsky that she lost her job.Oosterhouse seconded Jager's statement and said that he also didn't have anything to do with Kaminsky's firing.

Amy Smart Is Mum About The Incident

As of late, Oosterhouse's wife, Amy Smart, has not yet released a statement regarding the allegations being thrown at her husband.

The couple tied the knot in 2012 outside their home in Traverse City, Michigan. Their eco-friendly wedding was attended by their closest family and friends. Five years after tying the knot, the couple welcomed their first child, Flora Oosterhouse, on Dec. 31.
