The title of Mariah Carey's upcoming album has been released - The Art of Letting Go.

Producer Jermaine Dupri, who is also Carey's long-time friend, revealed the news via his blog, Global 14.

"The Art of Letting Go. The new album will be available for all the lambs on July 23," he wrote on Tuesday.

Still, the mother of two didn't confirm the title herself. She did, however, make a reference to it on her Twitter page.

"Melancholic moment letting go of something this personal to me yet I couldn't be more excited to give three years of my soul to the fans," she wrote on June 16.

The caption was attached to a photo she uploaded of herself in a pool. She also included, "A much needed splash after hours pon de mic singing for my #beautiful #lamb I love you."

As Enstars previously reported, the singer did confirm the album's July release date on her Twitter on June 5.

The only single released so far is #Beautiful with singer Miguel. The song has peaked at No. 17 on Billboard.

The 43-year-old is also in the studio working with Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox, Big Jim Wright, Hit-Boy, The-Dream, Mike Will Made It and Rodney Jerkins.

The upcoming album wil have "a lot more raw ballads than people might expect," Carey told Billboard in March. "Where we go with this project, I've tried to keep the soul and heart in it."

She also added, "One particular song is definitely going to be a huge fan favorite, in my opinion."

The song she may be referring to is one she did with some of her American Idol friends.

The former judge confirmed to Ryan Seacrest in May that the album will feature a song with season 12's top three competitors - Candice Glover, Kree Harrison and Angie Miller.

The album will be the follow-up to Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, which Carey released in 2009. Her eleventh studio album peaked at No. 3 on Billboard.
