Kylie Jenner is reportedly concerned that her boyfriend, rapper Travis Scott, may not be present when their baby, who is rumored to be a girl, arrives early next year.
According to a new report, Jenner has accepted the idea of becoming a single mother and is completely okay with the concept. That said, when she first discovered that she was pregnant, she allegedly hoped to have a more hands-on partner.
"When she first learned she was expecting Travis’ baby she had romantic fantasies about how wonderful Travis and she would be together throughout her pregnancy and then as parents, a source told Hollywood Life on Dec. 18. Now that Travis is simply not around that much, her reality isn’t matching her expectations and Kylie is coping with the real possibility that she may be a single mommy."
Jenner became pregnant with Scott's baby just a short time after they began dating. As fans of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star may recall, Jenner struck up a romance with Scott just weeks after calling it quits with Tyga. Then, weeks after that, she reportedly became pregnant with Scott's first child.
Although Jenner and Scott have faced rumors of trouble in paradise in recent weeks, the Hollywood Life insider said that the longtime reality star and cosmetics mogul was okay with welcoming her first child as a single mother because she's seen her oldest sister, Kourtney Kardashian, raise three kids without much help from her ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick.
“Kylie feels like, with the help of her family, she too can take care of her new baby just fine," the insider continued. "Kylie is still hoping that Travis will be an active parent, However, if his absence for much of the pregnancy is any indicator, Kylie fears Travis will not be around much in the future too."
The source added that if Jenner were to go into labor early, her boyfriend may actually miss their child's birth.
Jenner and her family are currently preparing for the upcoming holidays and as they do, rumors continue to swirl in regards to when and where Jenner will confirm her pregnancy. The same goes for her older sister Khloe, who has yet to confirm whether or not she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
Jenner and her family will return to the E! Network for the remaining episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 14 next month.
