Tyler Baltierra is ready to have his wife, Catelynn Lowell, back home.
According to a new report, Baltierra is looking forward to having the Teen Mom OG star rejoin him and their daughter, 2-year-old Novalee Reign, at their Michigan home following a stint in rehab for her mental health.
“My wife is incredibly strong and courageous,” Baltierra tweeted on Monday, Dec. 18, according to a report by Us Weekly magazine. “She inspires me to just be a better human being all around & I’m so honored to share my life with such a selfless soul. I love her so much & can’t wait for her to be home #CatelynnStrong.”
Lowell was supposed to be home at some point last week but for some reason, her scheduled return didn't happen. Instead, Lowell remained in treatment for long as she continued to address her mental health concerns and past thoughts of suicide.
Earlier this month on Instagram, Baltierra confirmed that he and his daughter had been in Arizona to visit Lowell for two weeks straight to ensure they could visiting Lowell every Sunday. Baltierra also said that he had taken a break from everything he was previously involved with in order to spend the most time possible with their daughter.
“Without her mom around, she needs me and my devoted attention. Family always comes first!” he explained.
In late November, Lowell confirmed on Twitter that she was entering treatment after thinking of “every way" to kill herself. She then told Us Weekly magazine that she was taking time for herself to make sure that she was in a good place mentally.
In her statement, Lowell said that she contemplated killing herself in a number of different ways including wrapping a belt around her neck or crashing her car into an electric pole.
Lowell went on to thank her husband for his ongoing support and said she was also thankful that she is self-aware. She also told others who are suffering that they are not alone.
"I’m seeking treatment and I WILL get better," she added.
