NFL player Kerry Rhodes has allegedly been bragging to his friends that he could be the father of the yet-to-be-named newborn daughter of Kim Kardashian, according to Bossip.

"Man this could be my baby!! I was fu**ing her the same time as K.West was lol!!!" Rhodes reportedly wrote in a text message he sent to several of his NFL pals.

Ironically, Rhodes is rumored to be gay. Questions about his sexuality arose after Hollywood" Simpson, a man claiming to be his lover, released several pictures and a video of the two together. Simpson, Rhode's former assistant, claimed the two engaged in a secretive gay relationship, but Rhodes vehemently denied the accusations.

Rhodes' text messages about his relationship with Kardashian, seem to be an attempt to clear his name and put the rumors about his sexuality to rest, according to Deadspin.

West and Kardashian haven't responded to the reports about Rhodes and have been hush-hush about their newborn babygril in general. There's still no information about the baby's name and no photos of the newborn have been releasesed.

Kardashian did email Ryan Seacrest, who produces her reality shows, to sum up motherhood, in comments he aired on his Tuesday radio show: "Can't believe it. So crazy!"

While Kim may be mum about her firstborn, other members of the Kardashian clan have expressed their excitement about the new member of their family.

""We're happy, everybody's good and she's beautiful," Kris Jenner told E! News.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Kardashian and West wouldn't be able to get as large a payday as they had hoped for, for pictures of their newborn. People magazine was reported to be the most likely bidder of the photos for a price of about $200,000 to $400,000. Us Weekly is also in the running for the first photos of the tot.
