Celebrities were singing the praises of actor Channing Tatum on Jimmy Kimmel Live -- literally.

The muscular actor, and his name, were the subject of a new video aired on the late night show on Tuesday. The video for (I Wanna) Channing All Over Your Tatum was based on a song once performed by Tatum and his White House Down co-star Jamie Foxx back in February on Kimmel's Oscars after-show.

Tatum's name is used a euphemism for some kind of sexual act, and the video, which parodied many a rap video trope, showed the actor singing with auto tuned vocals in the chorus, "She wants to sing into my mic, because my mic is magic."

The name plastered all over bottle of champagne and sun tan lotion poured on models, who also danced around the two actors on a beach.

Verses featured Foxx, who once referred to himself as 4 Chainz -- two was perhaps not enough for the Oscar winner -- and the show's host, who raps a weird verse about Channing all over his mother's Tatum, much to the disgust of Tatum and Foxx.

The Magic Mike star even joined in on the rapping act himself, explaining, to some degree, the song's meaning to Kimmel: "Channing Tatum on the mic I know you're kind of confused/We all be singing out my name making sexual moves/But if you're gonna go and Channing then you better be warned/Going Channing on the Tatum makes the babies be born."

Actresses Olivia Munn and Gabourey Sidibe and singer Miley Cyrus appeared singing back-up: Munn and Sidibe mimicked singing the actor's name into plastic microphones in a mock-up of a teen girl's bedroom, while Cyrus, wearing a crop top with Tatum's first name on it, showed up at the end to alert Kimmel that he "Channinged all over her Tatum" when he rescued her from a falling vending machine.

Even Matt Damon, once a parody video star himself -- remember "I'm F---ing Matt Damon" by Kimmel's former girlfriend, comedian Sarah Silverman? -- made an appearance in the video, popping up briefly in a random nightclub scene.

The absurd video later ended with Foxx stating, "CT, I told you your name is magic," as Tatum launched himself into the air and spelled out his own name as sky-writing.
