Dame Lowell Goddard steps down as head of child sex abuse inquiry

Catelynn Lowell returned home from rehab after a weeks-long stay on Saturday.

Just one day before leaving the Arizona treatment center she's been in since late November, the Teen Mom OG star and mother of three-year-old Novalee Reign took to Twitter to tell her fans that she was headed back to her family.

"I'm going home tomorrow!" Lowell wrote on Dec. 29. "So excited for the future and seeing my family!! Six weeks of treatment and I feel good! Gotta work it when I get home thanks for all your support. #KeepTalkingMH."

A short time after Lowell announced the news of her exit from rehab, her husband, Tyler Baltierra, spoke of his excitement to see his wife return to their Michigan home. He also applauded the reality star for her dedication to her mental health.

"Cate comes home today & I can’t wait to just hug her for as long as I want. I am so incredibly proud of her & the work she has done!" he said.

Lowell also received a supportive message from her Teen Mom OG co-star and friend, Maci Bookout.

"I am so proud of you! Love you so much and i cant wait to see you again soon," Bookout tweeted.

Lowell announced she was checking herself into rehab on Twitter at the end of November, and her husband, Baltierra, quickly expressed his public support for the reality star. Then in the weeks that followed, Baltierra and his daughter, Novalee Reign, traveled to Arizona so that they could be close to Lowell and visit with her on the weekends.

Before Lowell entered rehab, she and her husband were discussing the possibility of adding to their family. However, after Lowell began experiencing suicidal thoughts, their plans were immediately put on hold as Lowell made her mental health her priority.

Lowell and Baltierra were seen talking about pregnancy during the latest season of Teen Mom OG, but at the time, Lowell said that she wasn't quite ready to get pregnant. After all, she's experienced depression in the past and didn't want to put herself at risk for more heartache.

To see more of Catelynn Lowell, Tyler Baltierra, their family, and their co-stars, including Amber Portwood, Gary Shirley, Andrew Glennon, Taylor McKinney, Maci Bookout, Ryan Edwards, Mackenzie Standifer, and Farrah Abraham, tune in to new episodes of Teen Mom OG season 7 on Monday nights at 9 p.m. on MTV.
