Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber spent the Christmas holiday apart but according to a new report, the couple isn't taking things slow after reconciling at the end of October.

According to a new report, Gomez and Bieber, who have been lovingly referred to as "Jelena" by their fans for the past several years, are madly in love with each other just months into their highly publicized reunion.

On Jan. 6, sources close to the couple told The Blast that Gomez and Bieber were completely obsessed with each other and unconcerned about their fame when they're together.

At the start of 2017, Gomez debuted her relationship with The Weeknd, and in September of that year, they appeared to be stronger than ever as they moved into an apartment together in New York City. However, just one month later, Gomez faced rumors of a split from The Weeknd as Bieber was caught making his way out of her Studio City home. Days later, Gomez's breakup was confirmed, and weeks after that, the singer was seen kissing her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Bieber, during one of his ice hockey games in Los Angeles.

Gomez and Bieber are acting like “two lovesick school kids who can’t get enough of each other,” the insider told The Blast.

As the outlet explained, Gomez and Bieber have spent plenty of time with each other in the months since they reconciled. Just this month, they've been seen in Mexico ringing in the New Year with friends and in Los Angeles enjoying a private Pilates session.

Although Gomez and Bieber's busy schedules often keep them apart, the insider went on to confirm that the couple stays in constant communication when they are on the road and never hesitates to act "all lovey-dovey" during their conversations — even when others are in the room during their phone calls.

While Gomez's family, including her mom, Mandy Teefey, is reportedly against her reunion with Bieber, a source weeks ago said that Gomez has no plans to back off from their romance. In fact, she's allegedly calling Bieber her "husband."

“[Selena] adores him and swears this is the right thing for her. He’s changed and she knows that in time everyone will see that for themselves,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “She’s started calling him ‘my husband,’ so it’s pretty clear she’s taking this relationship very seriously.”
