Kendall Jenner's boyfriend, Blake Griffin, continues to be plagued by injuries as the Los Angeles Clippers' 2017-2018 season continues.

Following the athlete's latest injury, which took place during his Jan. 6 game against the Golden State Warriors, a report claims Griffin was quite scared after suffering a concussion and is currently under strict supervision as he awaits his potential return to the court.

"It isn't anything he ever wanted to happen because he has been majorly injury prone in his career and it's just another bad look on his career trajectory," a source explained to Hollywood Life on Jan. 10.

"Then with Kendall, she was and is very concerned still because she doesn't want to see her man hurt," the source added. "It is really something they are both monitoring. Kendall wants to be there for Blake at all costs but she also knows that he has to go through his own thing to get better because it is his future and his career."

Last week, Golden State Warriors player JaVale McGee accidentally hit Griffin in the forehead with his elbow, quickly sending the Los Angeles Clippers player to the ground in intense pain. Several minutes later, as concerned fans waited on the edge of their seats to see if he was okay, Griffin was able to stand up and was taken into the locker room where he received treatment.

Since the Jan. 6 game, Griffin has been sidelined and at this point, he still hasn't been cleared to play. Instead, he will continue to undergo the concussion protocol until the effects of the brain injury subside and he is able to return.

Griffin's latest injury is his second major takedown in recent months. As fans of the player will recall, Griffin suffered a sprained MCL in Nov. 2017, which kept him on the bench for two months.

Slowing It Down

Since the start of their relationship in August of last year, Jenner and Griffin have been faced with rumors of pregnancy and plans to wed. However, at this point in time, they appear to be taking things slow as Griffin continues to co-parent his two children with ex-fiancée Brynn Cameron.
