The cast of Will And Grace is expected to receive a superstar visit sometime this season. Jennifer Lopez is scheduled to guest star in a future episode of the show.

A Surprising Selfie

On Jan.11, Lopez's cop drama Shades of Blue Twitter feed exploded when it showed a selfie featuring the former American Idol judge dressed as New York Police Department detective Harlee Santos with three familiar faces. Those faces belonged to Will And Grace actors Debra Messing, Sean Hayes, and Megan Mullally.

The tweet was retweeted over 206 times and liked over 2,000 times. The selfie showcased that Santos might interact with the trio's iconic characters of Grace (Messing), Jack (Hayes), and Karen (Mullally).

Jennifer Lopez's Background With The Show

Many hardcore fans of the NBC sitcom know that this is not Lopez's first guest starring on Will & Grace. The "Dance Again" singer and future Las Vegas headliner played herself for two episodes during the Season 6 finale and the Season 7 opening episode.

In those chapters, the scene-stealing pair of Jack (Hayes) and Karen (Mullally) convinced Lopez to perform at Karen's wedding to flame Finster (guest star John Cleese). Lopez was apprehensive with the proposal until Karen brought up the fact that the fictional version of the Maid in Manhattan actress grew up with Karen's longtime suffering maid, Rosario (Shelley Morrison).

Lopez agreed to perform one of her hit songs at the ceremony but asks for two demands. Also, she allowed Jack to fulfill his dream of being a backup dancer when one of her fellow performers fell ill at the last minute.

One Busy Woman

In addition to her guest starring in a future episode of Will & Grace, Lopez is expected to start filming the sophomore season of the NBC dance competition World of Dance. The show follows Lopez, along with judges Ne-Yo, Derek Hough, and host Jenna Dewan Tatum searching for the best-undiscovered dancers and dance troops. The series is expected to air during the summer.

Also, she has been a stalwart advocate in Puerto Rico's recovery efforts. Her star-studded televised fundraiser, One Voice: Somos Live received over $35 million in donations when it aired on Oct. 14, 2017. Lopez put on the fundraiser with two of her legendary lovers: Alex Rodriguez and former husband, Marc Anthony.

During the powerful hurricane, Lopez went on Instagram to plead to her Puerto Rico fan base to check on her family that was living on the island.

Lopez's romance with former New York Yankees superstar Alex Rodriguez has been the subject of numerous tabloid reports.
