Freeform’s Grown-ish, spinoff of ABC’s Black-ish, didn’t waste any time in having Zoey Johnson (actress Yara Shahidi) explore boys in college.

Her player skills failed her in the latest episode as she got caught cheating on her crush, Aaron, and her friend turned bae, Luca. A new promo revealed whether Zoey is ready to move on with guy number three.

In the teaser, Zoey shows her friends a photo of the boy, Cash Mooney, she has to tutor so she can get a good recommendation letter. It turns out the guy is a pretty big sports star.

“Dude’s insane!” said Zoey’s friend Sky. “I saw a video of him dunking at 9 years old.”

Despite Zoey’s boy crazy moments during the debut episode of the series, she didn’t seem phased by the potential new guy’s credits. Still, her other friend Nomi, was definitely impressed.

“He’s on the short list of black guys that my dad would be cool with me dating.” In case you’re curious, the other two guys were Cash and Odell Beckham. She noted that comedian Kevin Hart once made the list but indicated “he got scratched off” possibly after that awkward cheating scandal that surfaced last year.

Still, Zoey said while she’s fully aware of who Cash is, “I just don’t care about a basketball player. Right now all I’m about is getting this fellowship.”

It looks like she really has turned to her studies for comfort. It might only be a matter of time before she leans on Aaron or Luca again. She had been spending much of the most recent episode trying to get Aaron’s attention. When he didn’t respond in the way she had hoped, she moved on with Luca, who was clearly interested in being more than friends.

Things got even more awkward when Aaron ended up coming around and Zoey tried to play both of them. For the most part, she had things under control considering the two have been enemies since the show debuted earlier this month. Considering she was new to the cheating game, it didn’t take long for her to get caught when she ended up in a FaceTime and Skype session with both of them at the same time. After they ended their argument, they both hung up and refused to speak with Zoey. Swearing off boys might have been for the best but considering her history, it might not last long.
