Matt Lauer continues to suffer the repercussions of his alleged sexual misconduct. The once famed news anchorman was terminated from NBC after 20 years on the Today show and now, it seems his marriage is failing as well. His wife, Annette Roque, reportedly has kicked Lauer out of their Hampton home.

Roque Has Had Enough

After it was announced by Lauer's former colleagues that he would no longer be on the Today show, Lauer's personal life began to deteriorate. Lauer's wife was spotted several times without her wedding ring, and apparently the two had been living separately before the allegations came out. These reports were confirmed by Roque's father, who stated that Roque wanted to move forward with her life and had no plans on reconciling with Lauer. Her father further stated that their family were "disgusted" by Lauer's actions.

Reportedly, Roque has now banned Lauer from their home in the Hamptons on Monday. As of now Lauer is living at their Long Island property. Lauer was staying at the Hampton property to stay close to their three children, Jack, Romy, and Thijs.

This isn't the first time the couple's marriage was on the rocks. Back in 2006, Roque filed for divorce from Lauer, citing "cruel and inhumane" treatment from Lauer as the reason. The two reconciled later that year.

Lauer's Collegaues Speak Out

After Lauer was removed from the popular morning show, Lauer's friends and former work companions spoke out about the allegations against him. Hoda Kotb, who replaced Lauer, and Savannah Gutherie both stated that they were "shocked" and "hurt" by the accusations and Lauer's firing.

Katie Couric, who had a very close relationship with Lauer, spoke recently about the scandal after remaining quiet about it for a month.

"Matt was a kind and generous colleague who treated me with respect. In fact, a joke I once made on late-night television was just that, because it was completely contrary to our brother-sister relationship. It's still very upsetting," Couric stated

Ann Curry, who left the Today show in 2012, stated she was not surprised by the allegations. Curry had a very rocky relationship with Lauer and has speculated that the former anchorman had a hand in her departure from the Today show.

"I would be surprised if many women did not understand that there was a climate of verbal harassment that existed. I think it would be surprising if someone said that they didn't see that," Curry commented during an interview with CBS This Morning
