Actor Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta Mellark in The Hunger Games, called On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday to talk about the second installment Catching Fire.

"I can't divulge any kind of plot details, but it's up and down," he said about his character's relationship with Katniss Everdeen. "Katniss and Peeta's relationship is very complicated. It has a lot of little things that need to be worked out, but it's good. People, I think, will be very satisfied with it."

The two characters were the winners of the Hunger Games in the first installment. In this film, Katniss, who is played by Jennifer Lawerence, becomes the target that authorities want dead.

Seacrest asked Hutcherson how far Peeta and Katniss's relationship will go in the sequel. But, when asked if Peeta and Katniss kiss, the actor remained tight-lipped. He did explain, however, what would happen if he did have to kiss Lawrence while filming.

"I'd say there's a natural stirring that happens in your body," the actor said in reference to kissing a co-star on screen. "If you're in the moment and you're in the scene, then naturally, whatever naturally happens is what's supposed to happen."

The second film, Hutcherson also said, has a lot more interesting elements but it still "stays true to the book."

Lawrence also spoke a little about the film during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival in May.

"This movie is visually kind of huge and stunning and we dive a little deeper into the capital and we are back into Katniss's life as she's trying to kind of piece her life together after the games and the stakes are a lot higher in this movie," she told Shine on Media.

Other stars in the film include Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Lenny Kravitz.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits U.S. theaters on Nov. 22.
