James Kennedy and Lala Kent came to blows on Monday night's Vanderpump Rules and during their feud, Kennedy insisted that their fight wasn't about pasta.

One day later, Kennedy, who serves as a DJ at SUR Restaurant on Tuesday nights, took to his Twitter page and told his fans and followers that the drama between them was actually about pasta, not Kent's treatment of his girlfriend, Raquel Leviss, as he previously claimed.

"When I say, 'It’s not about the pasta,' it was about actually pasta and the fact Lala stuffed her face with all my girls food without remorse is the reason I got [pissed] in the first place," Kennedy tweeted on Jan. 23.

Although Kennedy made it seem that there was ongoing disrespect happening between Kent and Leviss, he now claims their pasta dispute was a one-time thing. That said, Kent didn't take too kindly to Kennedy's reaction to her pasta-grubbing behavior and ultimately ended her friendship with her costar completely.

During Monday night's episode of season six, Kennedy took aim at his friend Kent and her boyfriend, Randall Emmett, who he claimed Kent was only sleeping with because he paid her bills. He then said that Emmett was a fat man. Kent has never shown her boyfriend on camera but recently confirmed his identity on Instagram after nearly two years of dating.

Following the episode, Kent officially announced the end of her friendship with Kennedy on Twitter.

“Tonight’s episode is nothing short of cringeworthy,” Kent tweeted on Jan. 22. "I remember the day that he attacked the person I love the most. The person that is my human. My everything. The one I would die for, and live to protect... I let it slide for some reason… maybe out of shock."

A short time later, after watching the drama play out, Kent realized she had enough.

"After rewatching it, reliving it, and then dealing with his constant attacks on a regular basis, I’m sadly mourning the loss of our friendship," she added.
