Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are going strong after over two years of dating, despite reports claiming there is trouble in paradise between them.

Following months of rumors suggesting that the couple's relationship has grown strained, the 22-year-old model took to her Instagram story and shared a sweet photo of her and her boyfriend, who is a former member of One Direction.

On January 31, Hollywood Life shared news of the couple's latest selfie, revealing that the image was a rare one for Malik who is known for his failure to smile in the majority of photos he shares.

Hadid was first linked to the musician in late 2015 after being spotted with one another at an after-party for that year's American Music Awards. Then, in mid-2016, Hadid and Malik briefly called it quits after rumors began swirling for months suggesting they were arguing frequently.

While the couple spent a few weeks apart in 2016, they ulimately chose to rekindle their romance in June of that year after Malik allegedly apologized for lying to his model girlfriend.

“They have been working on their communication and being honest with each other and so far things are great,” a Hadid source told People magazine at the time of their reunion. “They were fighting all the time and Gigi caught Zayn in a handful of lies and couldn’t take the mystery anymore, so she dumped him.”

According to the report, Hadid was highly upset with Malik after he lied to her but Malik stepped up and did what he could to prove himself to her. 

Although the source said at the time that things between the reconciled pair could change at any moment. They seem to have been going strong ever since their relationship hiccup. That said, rumors regarding a possible split between them have continued to swirl, with the latest report from OK! Magazine claiming that Malik wants to relocate to London.

In other Hadid news, Gigi's younger sister, Bella, appears to be involved in a number of on-and-off relationships. As fans may have noticed, Bella began spending time with Drake last year and he even threw her a birthday party. Then, after it was announced that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd had called it quits, he turned up at her New York City apartment.

There have also been reports of a romance between Bella Hadid and Jordan Clarkson, the former boyfriend of Kendall Jenner, but those rumors have yet to be confirmed.
