Vanessa Lachey is throwing her hat into the casting ring for the 50 Shades of Grey movie, revealing she'd be interested in playing the female lead as Anastasia Steele.

"I was obsessed with the book and read it when I was pregnant," the Wipeout host told EnStars at the P&G Everyday Effects campaign launch in New York. "50 Shades got me through my pregnancy. I spent a lot of time just reading, sitting on the couch and went through all those books quickly."

"I felt guilty. I was like, 'Should I be reading this?'" she quipped about E.L James's best-selling erotic novel, which has been dubbed "mommy porn."

Lachey is excited to see who will land the coveted roles, revealing she'd be most interested in auditioning for the leading role of Anastasia, opposite Christian Grey.

"Any casting opportunity, I'd be honored. If my blessings would continue into a movie role, of course, I'd love to be a part of that franchise."

Although the busy mom, and wife to 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey, has a packed scheduled, she wouldn't mind expanding their family and giving 9-month-old Camden a sibling.

"We're always ready and want to have more kids," the Dads actress said.

"I am enjoying now. We're living in the moment, and I couldn't be happier."

For now, Lachey is enjoying her son's latest milestones, revealing that Camden "has four teeth and is a crawling machine."

"He is so determined. I see the drive in him. If he wants something, he'll go after it. It will be interesting, seeing that trait as he gets older and maybe takes it into sports, school or music. I see him having that drive to perfect things, so it'll be fun to watch."

This fall, Lachey will return to TV in Fox's six-episode multi-camera comedy series Dads (produced by Seth MacFarlane) as a regular. The show centers on two successful guys in their 30s, Eli (Seth Green) and Warner (Tommy Dewey), who have their lives turned upside down when their nightmare dads (Peter Riegert, Martin Mull) unexpectedly move in with them. Lachey will play Camilla, Warner's (Dewey) wife and, the mother of their two children.
