Selena Gomez reportedly embarked on a secret treatment program for mental health earlier this year and now, she's said to be doing great.

According to a new report, the 25-year-old "Bad Liar" singer checked into a treatment center in New York City last month and participated in a program based on mental wellness and empowerment.

“It’s about physical, mental wellness and clean eating. She was there for about two weeks but she was also in the city doing work,” a source told US Weekly magazine on Feb. 1. “She feels great.”

Gomez also reportedly received treatment for depression and anxiety during her time at the facility. As the insider explained, Gomez doesn't want to slip back into a depressed state and has made the decision to be proactive about her mental health.

Throughout the past several months, Gomez has gone through a lot. As fans will recall, she underwent a kidney transplant last summer during her romance with The Weeknd and months later, as she began spending time with Bieber, she and The Weeknd split.

Since then, Gomez has reportedly been doing what she can to keep her relationship with Bieber on track. She's also attempting to convince her mother that Bieber isn't the immature playboy he once was.

Gomez reportedly kept her phone throughout her time at the facility and remained in touch with her supportive boyfriend, Justin Bieber.

“[He] knew about it and was supportive, but the trip had nothing to do with him,” the source said.

Gomez's latest stint in rehab wasn't her first. In fact, it was at least the third time she's checked herself into a facility to tend to her health.

Just over a year ago, Gomez checked into a rehab center in Tennessee to tend to her mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and panic attacks after canceling 34 dates of her Revival tour dates.

Last year, while speaking about her mental health with Vogue magazine for their March 2017 cover, Gomez opened up about her 2016 stint in rehab, revealing what her experience was like.

“You have no idea how incredible it felt to just be with six girls. Real people who couldn’t give two s**ts about who I was, who were fighting for their lives,” she told the magazine. “It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but it was the best thing I’ve done.”
