Call or beep all your friends -- another Disney classic will be getting a live-action cast! It has been announced that the beloved animated series, Kim Possible, will be getting a live-action movie, and social media can't seem to contain their excitement.

So, What's The Stitch?

Kim Possible was one of Disney Channel's most popular series. The action-packed show ran from 2002-2007 and featured the voice talents of Christie Carlson Romano as Kim, Will Friedle as Ron Stoppable, Tahj Mowry as Wayne, and Raven-Symone as Monique. The series also spawned to the television movies Kim Possible: A Stitch in Time and Kim Possible: So The Drama, which was well-received by viewers.

The show's original creators, Mark McCorkle and Robert Schooley, are signed to be executive producers for the upcoming movie along with Zanne Devine.

"Mark and Bob created an enduring character and kids all over the world found a friend in her, an average girl who just happens to spend her off-school hours thwarting evil villains. Although Kim Possible 'can do anything,' kids and tweens found that this animated redhead was just like them," Executive Vice-President of Disney Worldwide, Adam Bonnett stated

"I'm thrilled to be working again with Mark and Bob and to welcome the addition of a dynamic creative team -- Josh, Zanne, Adam, and Zach -- into a world where anything is indeed possible," he continued.

Social Media Goes Crazy

As news spread about the classic cartoon series coming back to life, Twitter users couldn't help but sound off about their anticipation.

While many offered suggestions on who should take on the role of Ms. Possible and her friends, others couldn't help but wonder if Christina Milian will return to sing the intro for the film.

Guess we'll have to wait and see!
