Tim Duncan will soon be heading to divorce court with estranged wife, Amy Duncan after a devastating NBA finals loss to the Miami Heat, 88-95 Thursday night.

The 37-year-old San Antonio Spurs Center told reporters on Thursday that Game 7's loss will stick with him for the rest of his life.

"Game 7, missing a lay‑up to tie the game," Tim said after the game. "Making a bad decision down the stretch. Just unable to stop Dwyane and LeBron. Probably for me Game 7 is always going to haunt me."

The Spurs who blew a 6-point lead in under 30 seconds in Game 6 had a chance to tie up the game Thursday. With San Antonio down, 90-88, Tim received a pass with Shane Battier defending him and no other player in the paint. Tim spun into the lane to attempt a hook shot, falling short. The ball hit the back of the rim and bounced off. The 16-year-old veteran then had another opportunity to tie the game up, but the ball did not drop in the hoop when he tried to lay it up.

With 42 seconds left in the game, Miami's LeBron James dribbled up the court as Duncan slapped the floor.

"That's out of me just missing the bunny," he said when asked why he smacked the hardwood. "I got by Shane and had a layup to tie the game. It's just frustration."

Meanwhile, Tim will soon face his wife of 12 years in court.

Enstars reported earlier the former couple agreed to postpone their divorce proceedings until at least 30 days after the NBA Finals are over.

While rumors first swirled that Amy initially filed for divorce, later reports indicated that the NBA star hired a private investigator to spy on her.

Duncan hopes to come to an agreement that will benefit the couple's two children, Sidney and Draven.

On Sunday to celebrate Father's Day, Tim was seen during halftime of Game 5 spending quality time with his children.

The intimate moment was caught on television as ABC headed for commerical.
