Halle Berry, Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde will take part in hosting two major fundraising events for women's cancer research.

The actresses expressed excitement to host the 2012 EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women that will take place in New York and Los Angeles on May 5 and May 12 respectively. Stone and Wilde will host onsite in New York while Berry will be in Los Angeles.

"It is almost impossible to describe the feeling of standing before tens of thousands of women, men and children at the [walk]," Berry said in a statement Wednesday.

"There is such unity, emotion and hope among the participants and it is truly an honor to once again lend my name to the event and the ongoing fight against women's cancers," she added.

Wilde, who has hosted the event five times said:

"It is truly one of the best parts of my job as a Revlon Global Ambassador and I hope that we have a record breaking year with participants and fundraising for this important event."

Stone added:

"I am truly honored and excited to be part of this inspirational event and to walk side-by-side in unity with the other participants in our fight to find a cure for women's cancers."

The races are organized by Revlon, the UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program and the Entertainment Industry Foundation.

Each year, the New York race attracts over 20,000 participants. In 2012, the race will start in Times Square and finish in the East Meadow of Central Park.

The Los Angeles race attracts over 40,000 participants each year, according to organizers. This 2012 it will take place at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at Exposition Park.
